For Visa sponsorship of Temp or Tourist
1- You must have a University Degree 4 years or equivelent.
2- 2 Head Shot photos
3- Original of Passport and your university degree
4- Resume C.V.
5- Any references from previous work place. not necessary but better to have them

Then you will meet our company representative with your above mentioned documents at the immigration office of your prefecture of residence. Then at the immigration office, we will submit our documents and your documents. The immigration will take a copy of your documents and give your originals back to you.

Visa will take about 4 weeks to 8 weeks depends on the waiting list of other applicants. That does not mean you started working, it means waiting time. Therefore, you should bring enough cash with you from home to cover your costs while waiting for the visa. Training contract with the company is dated for a maximum length of one month, however training will be for a one week or two week at the most. Beyond training, you should survive on your own until the visa is ready. All this time , the company pays for housing, and for the transportation costs while on training. Training is usually around 4 or 5 hours a day at company brnach for a 16 to 22 days. from 9 am to 2 pm .

For Visa sponsorship from current working visa
1- Alien card
2- 2 head shot photos
3- passport
4- Letter of release from last sponsor
5- Your newest tax return slip or tax refund or pay slips with the last company.

1- According to the Japanese Immigration Law, Instructors must have either Spouse visa or Instructor visa to be eligible for the instructor job
2- Other types of work would fit with its field of visa. For example. Office worker would take Specialist in Humanities visa. Maid will take Designated services visa....etc

Costs
For visa sponsorship and Certificate of Eligibility, the Immigration office will charge about 4000 yen for revenue stamp only. Other costs are illegal. Some companies may claim other costs, but that is illegal by law. Some teachers have told us that it cost them in the past up to 80.000 yen for another company to sponsor them. again, it is illegal. Any costs are paid directly from the teacher/applicant/employee  to the immigration office at the visa day. In some cases, the company will pay the 4000 yen revenue stamp to exempt the employee from any fees.

Information
During the process of your visa at the immigration, you are allowed to be under a training contract in the company. Training contract applicants are not allowed any type of salary or income in japan as long as the visa is not ready yet. however, you are allowed any fees your need such has train fare, taxi, bus,...etc and if the training is in a remote branch, the company will provide housing near by or pay the hotel fees.

P.S. Our company staff might have other meetings with other teachers on same day at the immigration office or another meeting same day in another area. Please do not come late to the immigration office otherwise, the company staff will not be able to wait for you. Make sure you get to the meeting station on time. If you life in Tokyo then the application must be processed in Tokyo office. If in Saitama then application must be in saitama and so on. Always make sure to confirm with the company staff concerning the location, station name and time.

We do not sponosor for the following cases
1- overstayer. If your visa has expired and you become by law under the over stay category. we cannot sponosor your visa.
We are not responsible for over stay category if the teacher or the employee forgot the expire date of his visa or the teacher or employee is not aware of the immigration law. (not knowing the law does not exempt you from penalty if you made a mistake)
2- If you had been convicted in any crime or felony in japan.
3- If the third party in our work (customer, minstry of education representatives, labor law representative, immigration law representative) requested that your visa should not be sponsored.
4- If your contract type does not allow visa sponsorship such as the following cases:-
1- part time contract (hour system) is not allowed sponsorship
2- Part time day system contract (day count) is not allowed sponsorship
3- Short term work contract (less than 6 months) is not allowed sponsorship
4- fulltime contract however, the performance was accompanies with lots of complaints and many absent days, late times to schools.
In the cases 1 , 2 and 3 above , if you need visa sponosorship, you have the following options
A- Combine between 2 contracts for 2 different companies. One is our contract and another company contract to form a full time style to make you ligible for visa sponsorship
B- Combine between our contract and private students income to make a full time salary that make your status ligible for visa sponsorship.
C- work 2 differnt jobs. one of them is our contract and the other contract is with another company or with us working in office work or private conversation lessons.
In other words, the immigration office needs proof that your income (from one or more sources) equals to the same income a japanese national in same age would make or more, but not less.




Visa is an important step to be able to work in japan. We offer the visa services for our company employees, staff and workers to be able to work legally in japan.
Other services from our company include
1- All employees are under a health insurance plan. All employees including Part time. Semi Full time and Full time employees., Teachers, Staff...etc. such insurance is not valid in case the employee has a national health insurance under the Japanese government.
2- All employees are covered with Social Insurance plan including part time, full time and Other types of employments.
3- All employees have the option of Job Risks insurance under AIU company. costs about 4000 yen a month. Any employee in the company may apply for that type of insurance that covers work accidents and related injuries compensation.
4- All employees may have the right to ask for a bonus. Bonus is decided based on the performance of the employee and the management final record on the employee performance, customer report and attendance.
5- All employees working in the company with contracts, are within the rights of the Japanese standard labor law. If any of the contract rules between the company and the employee is against the Japanese standard labor law, then the company contract rule of concern, becomes void and the Japanese labor law become in effect.

The following cases are considered violations to visa sponsorship and cannot be granted a letter of release nor any other documents from the company.
1- If you are granted a visa sponsorship at our company. You will have to spend with us at least 1 year from date of issue. If you fail to provide a 1 year contract, you will be considered in violation of company policy towards visa sponsorship
2- If you decided to seek jobs in other companies within the first year of your visa sponsorship and did not get our company approval.
3- If you have caused enough troubles to our work and caused a sequence of complaints at the customer side within the first year.
4- If you have failed to follow any of the japanese labor laws or immigration laws concerning your legal visa status in japan.
5- If you have violated your contract with our company in any form by breaching the contract, lying, misleading, fraud acting, false claiming, ....etc

If you are under one of the above mentioned cases, you will not be able to renew the visa. By the time your visa is near to expire, You will need to leave japan and come back to japan under a tourist visa as a first time comer, then re apply for a new legal visa under another company. Go through the whole process again from the begining. We are not sure now, if the immigration office starrted the one file system or not. There was an inssue on japan times, that the immigration office will make a new system through which every person has a one file. SO even when you leave japan and try to come again under a new tourist visa, they still can check your back history and therefore, will check with your last sponsor.  They can do that through your name and date of birth with your nationality. That process as the issue claims will be in effect when the new firger printing and scanning system applies. In this way, your finger prints will be the main criteria to get your file and digital information. That law is still under study according to Union home page and many foriegners are against it, you may join the union and vote to ban that law. It is your own free will to decide what you wish to vote for or against the law, however, the company has no authority over the law and the company welcomes teachers who are members of the union at all times.
